This is the story of the cricket camp where Angela and Kami helped out the summer before the Lynburns returned, hinted at in [b:Unspoken|10866624|Unspoken (The Lynburn Legacy, #1)|Sarah Rees Brennan|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1333397426s/10866624.jpg|15781826]. It's told from the point of view of Liz, a recent college grad who is the head of the cricket camp. It's not a bad little story; I loved seeing Angela and Kami from an outsider's view and getting the background to these characters that was hinted at in the full novel. Unfortunately, I thought Liz's character suffered; she was not nearly as developed as Mariel in [b:The Spring Before I Met You|16002855|The Spring Before I Met You (The Lynburn Legacy, #0.25)|Sarah Rees Brennan|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347361443s/16002855.jpg|21765429]. Also I felt the writing was a bit sketchy, not as clear as in the previous short story. However, it was fun and if you enjoyed "Unspoken", you will undoubtedly enjoy this. 3.5 stars rounded to 4.
